Life at Overture on Devine is designed to simply make growing older a joy. To live life and have fun!

The amenities provided will allow residents to maintain a healthy and active social life. Amenities will include an aquatic centre with salt-water indoor/outdoor swimming pool, saunas and hot-tubs in a spa like setting. Other amenities will include a movie theater, games and hobbies room, card room, library, snooker/billiard room as well as a well-equipped health center. An onsite beauty salon will be available for those who wish to be pampered and groomed for those special occasions.

Our staff are available to support our residents’ daily physical fitness, creative and social activities including scheduled group trips and resident-sponsored clubs for a variety of interests.

Courtesy transport will be provided for residents so that they can conduct their business in town without the hassle of having to drive and find parking or for that matter even maintain a vehicle.

For those that do have cars we provide underground parking that will be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer, allowing you comfortable access at any time. For those who use battery powered buggies or scooters, dedicated parking with charging points will be provided..

The landscaped gardens will provide opportunity for walks in beautiful green spaces and perhaps a lazy afternoon picnic or a leisurely game in the horseshoe pitch.

Eating well is a major contributor to living well… and living well is of utmost priority at Overture Living.

Many people believe healthy food means bland, boring, bad tasting, simple dishes like salads, boiled vegetables, no seasoning and tiny portions. This could not be further from the truth, the reality of dining at Overture Living is equal parts of nutritious and delicious. Our professionally trained Culinary staff ensure every meal offers a healthy, tasty variety of foods to suit every taste. Our menus are developed with a certified dietician who not only specializes in senior health within the parameters of the Canada Food Guide but communicates with our residents and listens to what they desire on the menu. Plus, when it comes to freshness, Overture kitchens go local as often as possible, using fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits grown in our own communities.

Butterfly Approach

Overture Living will be bringing the Butterfly Care Home philosophy to Sarnia. Residents who have dementia will be seen, listened to and cared for as a person with feelings, memories and a life to be lived. Everything you know or think of about caring for elders with dementia will be turned around by this evolving way of caring for residents.
